This is not medical advice

Soulifyoga sells physical education material. It is not a healthcare service, it performs no clinical acts and it does not replace a consultation with a doctor, physiotherapist or other qualified professional.

Nothing in the course is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition.

We are not healthcare professionals and we do not assess your physical condition. The lessons are recorded: nobody is watching your form or correcting your posture.

Talk to your doctor before you start

Seek medical advice before starting the course if you are pregnant or recently postpartum, have an active injury or persistent pain, have had surgery in recent months, have a disc herniation, osteoporosis, arthritis, glaucoma, uncontrolled blood pressure, heart problems, epilepsy, vertigo or dizziness, or take medication that affects balance.

The same applies if you have been inactive for a long time or are over 65.

How to practise safely

Start with module 1, even if you have done yoga before. The early lessons explain the alignment that later ones assume you know.

Use the easier variation whenever the full posture makes you hold your breath or strain.

Practise on a stable, clear floor, barefoot or in non slip socks, with free space for your arms and for a fall.

Do not practise right after eating, under the influence of alcohol, or on medication that causes drowsiness.

Stop immediately if

You feel sharp pain, especially in joints, spine or head.

You have dizziness, nausea, blurred vision, tingling in the limbs, disproportionate breathlessness or chest pain.

In these cases stop the lesson and seek medical advice. In an emergency call 112 in the European Union.

Limitation of liability

By using the course you accept that physical exercise carries a risk of injury and that you practise at your own risk, within what your body allows.

We are not liable for injuries resulting from practising against medical advice, ignoring the easier variations, forcing range of motion or practising in an unsuitable space.

This does not exclude our liability in cases where the law does not allow it to be excluded, in particular wilful misconduct, gross negligence or personal injury caused by us.

Minors and third parties

The course is for people aged 18 and over. It must not be used to teach children, groups or third parties.
